DAYMARE: 1998 is a third-person survival horror game with super-sophisticated survival mechanics and tenacious enemies. It requires a strategic approach to battles and puzzles and offers to look at the story through the eyes of three characters in order to learn about the deep and dark world of the game.

The action takes place on a secret research base with deadly chemical weapons and a special security team, which will investigate the incident, much more serious than just illegal entry. Stay in the shoes of an elite fighter, helicopter pilot and forester and play your part in the event, which will turn a peaceful town into a death zone and its inhabitants into bloodthirsty monsters.
